Our Treatment Programs
For more than 35 years, Horizons has offered culturally and linguistically competent Youth Substance Use Outpatient Treatment services using a harm reduction model. To strengthen the program’s capacity to address co-occurring disorders, Mental Health services were added to our menu of services. Understanding the value that culture plays in recovery and healing, staff incorporates a culturally competent approach to services that engender the trust and rapport needed for a meaningful therapeutic relationship.
Horizons is currently licensed with the California Department of Health Care Services, Certification number 380059AN, expiration date: 2/28/25.

Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Treatment for Youth
Ages: under 21 years old
If a youth is struggling with substance use, the city of San Francisco offers substance use treatment services. Screening and assessment, individual, group, and family counseling, treatment planning, case management, and referrals to support services.
